Fun things you said in 2017

I said – “Once in a while you can have it.”

You reply, “I want it three in a while.”

We were playing with tea set, I said can I have some green tea please, you say, no you

can have blue tea :)

I told you that we are going to one of my friend’s birthday party and you said – “I wish there is juice for me and wine for you Amma.“ 😊

You came back from school one day and asked:

"Can you forget my lunch?" You asked if we can forget your lunch because one of the parents forgot the kids lunch and got lunchables...so now you want us to do it too.

One day I asked you, what did you do in day care and you said,” It was a good day, we watched game of thrones. “

We went to a restaurant and few people commented on how cute you are. You look at me and ask “Why do people always say I am cute. Why don't they say- Oh you are so clever or Oh you are smart? Next time, when someone tells me I am cute, can you please tell people that I am very clever and smart too” ;)

I prepared some good pork ribs and you said - Thank you amma for making yummy food, let us start a restaurant, it will be called you and me Amma yummy restaurant

We had to do a little project for day care. Your fav food is fish eyes, salmon skin, roti and baked chicken :) may you always be a gourmet eater!

 

We took you both for your first concert. It was at Tufts university, concert for Chinese mid autumn festival. It was very good, but more suitable for adults. But you sat like a good girl, watched the show  and clapped hard at the right times.

Later in the day, I said how proud I was of you for sitting through the show and clapping so well. You said – “ Yaa, you should be happy as I clapped so well even though I did not like the performance very much” :) Love you little one 😊

I ask you to set up the table, You reply – “Today is Sunday, I don't work on Sundays! “ Smart ass!
