Fun things you said in 2018

I wish I could document every interesting thing you say, your tone, the look on your face when you say it...but that is not possible, so here are a few...

You : Is Jesus a boy or a girl?
Me : Boy
You : Is Jesus pretend like spider man and hulk?
Me : Sort of, he is pretend like Goddess Lakshmi. He is pretend or not pretend depending on who you talk to...

You walk away nodding seriously and saying, "Well, lots of pretend people..."

• You just had a party for your 4th birthday, but my sister was visiting two weeks later and wanted to celebrate your birthday again. So I told her that we are going to have another small party. You ask me - " Will I turn 5 now?"

• I was explaining to you that you should be good while I am away on a business trip for couple of days. After some negotiations and discussion, you agree and say – “Make sure Baba does not marry someone else while you are gone. I don’t want to deal with a step mother right now.”

This is not funny, but it warms my feminist heart when you say things like these! which happens quite often...

• After some paint fell on your top and you made a mess, you looked at me and said - "Baba has a lot of cleaning to do tonight" (June 2018)

I have never heard anyone explain the feeling of sadness like the way you did, but it was spot on

• Amma When I miss you, my heart turns into ice, like winter and then I feel so sad that it starts melting like it is summer. The water from my heart comes out of my eyes as tears. Do you feel the same way when you miss me Amma.... (July 26 2018)

When ever you ask me something interesting, I say " That is a very good question" and start explaining. These questions can be anything from - Why is the road gray? Why does it hurt when a baby comes out of you? Why do we need a bigger house ? Why do I have to put my clothes away ? Why do I need to wear pajamas?

Now, you say " Amma I have a very good question for you..." no matter how good the question is :) 

You were wearing a towel as a cape and said " Amma, I have super powers" When asked what the super powers are , you said - " My super power is I can make you happy" . That is a good super power I will welcome any time!

I was going to meditate and asked you to be quiet - 
You : "Amma, why do you meditate"
Me : "It makes me calm"
You : "You know what makes me calm, a glass of warm milk and your lap"
Aahh...How can I not melt into that statement!!!
